Sorry for the bad light....was a dreary (and foggy in spots) day. Was about 44 DegF when we left. High-res images were left at their original 2048 x 1536 size so load time may be slow over dial-up.

Upper Broadway

"Upper Broadway" slope

This is a view of the entire "Upper Broadway" slope from the bottom of the "Tamecat" novice pitch. The intersection of the Terrain Park can be seen at mid right, "Lynx" trail lower right and "The Chute" (A new name for the transition between Upper and Lower "Broadway") lower left. Notice the huge crowd at about 10 AM :-)
Lower Wildcat

"Lower Wildcat" slope

This is a shot of "Lower Wildcat" from an angle seen in several other places (including DCSki) but I thought I'd include it anyway. Taken right after loading on the double chair.
Wildcat T-Bar

Old Wildcat T-Bar

Again taken from the double chair cut adjacent to "Lower Wildcat". If you look closely, you can see the original T-Bar cut and towers that used to be the only way up before the double chair was added. I don't know when it last operated but I suspect it was sometime in the 60's. I first skied here in the 70's and the double chair was in by then. My Dad remembers the T-Bar though from the early days.
Midway Cabin

Midway Cabin

This is the Midway Cabin as seen from the quad chair. The slope in the foreground is the old "Timber Top" run, now combined and renamed "Lincoln Highway", which follows the quad liftline. The Midway cabin is the original ski lodge built in the 30's. It then became the lodge of the Pittsburgh ski Club in the 50's and 60's. The "Timber Top" slope was the site of a rope tow bult and operated by the club, often when the main slopes were closed.
Snow Bowl

"Snow Bowl"

The lower section of the bare "Snow Bowl" slope as seen from the double chair. "The Slot can be seen running right to left. There used to be a mid-station loading platform here for when "Lower Wildcat" had no or thin cover (which was often in the pre-snowmaking days). This was removed when the double chair was refurbished in 1999 when the ski area reopened.
The Slot

"The Slot"

A view of "The Slot" where it intersects "Dream Highway"
Lower Wildcat

"Lower Wildcat

"Lower Wildcat as seen from the top. The "Warming Hut" (which I have never seen open) can be seen at the bottom.
Upper Innsbruck

Upper Innsbruck

Upper Innsbruck winds through the bare woods. As seen from the quad chair.
Lower Broadway

"Lower Broadway"

Lower Broadway winds through the woods. Taken near the Midway Cabin.
Tamecat

Tamecat

"Tamecat" as seen from the now 5 year old lodge.
